READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
In this study, we are interested in modelling how participants like yourself compare various stimuli.
Your task in our study is fairly simple. In each trial, you will be shown a grid of images(example shown below). Your task is to select the images you think are 1st and 2nd most similar to a center reference bird, highlighted in green.
To select the image you think are most similar, simply click on them. When you click on them, the ranking will appear. Click on a bird again to de-select it.
After selecting two options, you will be able to select a 'Submit" button on the righthand of the screen, and then proceed to the next trial. An example is shown below of a trial with two images selected.

There are a total of 47 trials that you will participate in. There will be breaks every 20 trials.
To proceed to the experiment, press the "Get Started" button. By pressing the "Get Started" button, you will also indicate that you have read the instructions so far, and consent to participate in the experiment.
